Opportunity
Seymour John is working with an established manufacturer in the Telford area to recruit a diligent and proactive Production Planner to join their Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering the most effective production plans for the business, ensuring seamless collaboration with the sales and production departments to meet demand efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilise systems to translate sales forecasts into achievable production plans that balance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Review and maintain the production plan to support stock categorisation.
- Raise contracts, work orders, and BOMs.
- Ensure material availability in conjunction with the materials planner from 3rd party warehouse facilities.
- Manage and review the production plan daily.
- Assist NPD with all trials, ensuring relevant documentation is available and accurate.
- Maintain proactive communication with supply chain, operations, and sales teams.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and implement new procedures and improvements within the department.
- Ensure data accuracy and document control, providing accurate production plans and reports.
Qualifications/Experience:
Essential:

Desirable
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally holding or currently studying for a relevant professional qualification with a keen interest in a Supply Chain career.
