Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Kitechen assistant to work within our client's residential home in Westerham
Kitchen Assistant vacancy details:
- £11.44 per hour
- 36 - 40 hours per week available
- Day positions available
Kitchen assistant main duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents.
- Follow dietary guidelines and specific requirements for individual residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and labelling of food items.
- Help with food inventory and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including proper food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
- Support the chef and other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Provide courteous and friendly service to residents and staff.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
