Your new company
Primary schools across the Dudley area are looking for intervention teachers to join them to help small groups of children that have fallen behind in certain subjects. The children's class teacher will identify what they are struggling with, and you will plan and deliver short and focussed lessons to help them. The lessons must be engaging, and you will work with the children to find out what works for them. This could be visuals, using certain technology i.e. IPads/ laptops or flashcards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A valid DBS Check (or willing to apply for one)
- 2 years' worth of child-related references
- Experience working as a Primary School Teacher.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Planning and marking
