Outreach Worker - Preston:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an Outreach worker to support students with SEMH issues. You will support students in their homes and at locations in the local community. Your role will be supporting and mentoring the most at risk students in the school. The students will have a range of additional needs as well as lack of engagement at school and attendance issues. You will be supporting students in small groups or on a 1-1 basis.
You will need to be able to effectively communicate with students, parents and other staff. You will also have previous experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. You will need to be able to drive for this role.
Position Details:

- Hours: 9am-3:30pm

- End date: Ongoing

- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day (dependant on experience)
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting children with SEMH is highly desirable
- Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
