- This Venue Director role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has experience from leading complex hospitality venues with a focus on driving revenue growth and delivering a fantastic customer experience
The role:
- The successful Venue Director will be responsible for leading all operations across a flagship hospitality site. This site has over 20 banqueting and events with extensive outdoor space - you will lead a team of 140 permanent employees which grows to over 800 for key events.
- The Venue Director will drive operational excellence ensuring high quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered
- As Venue Director you will deliver revenue growth through driving innovative commercial solutions. As an entrepreneurial thinker the Venue Director will develop strategies for a wide range of events from large world leading events through to bespoke conferences to private dinners and celebrations.
- Leading a large team the Venue Director will inspire and lead the team to deliver both results and personal goals and objectives.
- The Venue Director will have full P&L accountability covering budgeting, forecasting, cost control etc
- In the role the Venue Director will manage internal and external relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels driving opportunities and developing solutions to challenges.
Ideal candidate:
- You will currently be leading a £multi million hospitality venue within the UK and be able to demonstrate a passion for both high quality food and exceptional customer service.
- As Venue Director you will have a proven track record at leading large teams of at least 450+ and be able to demonstrate inspiring and developing teams to deliver exceptional service and commercial success.
- For the role you must have a high level of commercial acumen and have a depth of P&L experience. In addition you will have experience of driving revenue and developing strategies that maximise large volume events.
- The Venue Director will have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build successful relationships.
- It is essential that you have a highly adaptive, proactive mindset and can adapt to ever changing dynamic environments and situations with problem and solution solving skills
- You will thrive in a highly personable fast paced people orientated environment
