Jonathan Lee is currently supporting a strategic client in the recruitment of an experienced FMEA Engineer to join their growing team in the design, development and manufacture of batteries for their state-of-the-art gigafactory on a permanent basis offering an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a FMEA Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert on the implementation, utilisation and best practice of FMEAs across the business.
To give you an idea of how this FMEA Engineer role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Develop the FMEA standards and support stakeholder processes for the business
- Support the development of product and process failure mode and risk analysis procedures and processes across the business and support systems implementation
- Facilitate analysis sessions, coordinate the sessions to ensure maximum effectiveness and output of the cross-functional team
- Report on overall project risks identified through FMEAs analysis
- Train and develop individuals in best practices surrounding the implementation and application of FMEA's
To apply for this FMEA Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Education to Degree level in an Engineering or Quality related subject
- Experience within Automotive, Aerospace and/or Chemical Manufacturing industries
- Experience in developing systems tools and processes to enable the business to identify and develop best practices for proactive risk analysis, failure mode prevention and operational control
