As a Building Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing planned maintenance and capital works projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough surveys, assessing building conditions, and recommending necessary repairs and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive surveys of buildings to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
- Planning and coordinating capital works projects, including re-roofing and external walls renovations.
- Collaborating with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on building regulations, compliance, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within the housing or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
