NC Associates are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding PE backed organisation based in Speke Merseyside who are looking to recruit an experience Senior Accounts Payable Clerk - Accounts Assistant who can support the Finance Manager and FD, this role plays an integral part within the finance team and requires a confident and experienced individual.
Duties
- Daily cash reconciliation for multiple currency accounts & credit cards
- Processing purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders, obtaining authorisation where necessary, coding to the system and resolving any querires
- proposed payment runs and uploading payments onto the bank with the implementation of various processes to adhere to new compliance and governance structure
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Expenses processing & payments
- Responsible for specific monthly balance sheet reconciliations & journals including bank accounts, credit cards and intercompany
- Monitor multiple 3rd party portals for new invoices and reports
- Manage the accounts inbox
- Any adhoc/additional tasks as required by senior management accountant
Essential Experience Required
To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience
- Experience within a similar role
- Xero experience desirable but not essential
- Understand basic accounting concepts/bookkeeping
- Moderate Excel skills
- Dealing with large volume of transactional posting
- Be super organised and have the ability to work in a start-up environment
- Show initiative and be proactive when it comes to problem solving
- Be a team player
