Business Administration Apprentice

Denholm Port Services provides ship agency services in the UK, operating in a wide range of markets such as cruise, container, navy and more. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team. In this role to you will provide support to the MD and Senior Management.

What are some of the things you will be doing?

  • Administration for the MD and Directors, including reconciling expense claims, executive and commercial reporting, booking travel and accommodation and arranging attendance at trade exhibitions
  • Preparing and distributing board papers
  • Maintaining company registers for vehicles, leases etc
  • Procuring and maintaining levels of stationery, workwear and business cards / ID passes
  • Creating client proposals
  • Maintaining an online presence through updating and monitoring social media such as LinkedIn

What qualities should you have?

  • Good communicator
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to multitask

Salary:

£18,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
