Miles Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our repeat client and contribute to their company's growth and efficiency. This position is a 3-month fixed term contract
As a Buyer, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that production has all of the components they need for their manufacturing schedules. Discussions with the management teams can be held on what the requirements for this role are. Other duties within this role will include:
- Sourcing and procurement
- Supplier management
- Cost management
- Compliance and reporting
To excel in this position as a Buyer, it is important that you have experience of MRP/ERP systems. Additionally, you will need to be:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational skills
- Fine attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
There is some flexibility around the core working hours, but it is a full time working week with a half day finish on Fridays.
Salary in the region of £30,000 p/a pro rata.
