My client based near Norwich is looking for an interim Management Accountant to support the team for up to 9 months. The role will be looking for someone who ideally has experience within the manufacturing sector and is comfortable with costing principles.
Your new role
- Liaising closely with the department managers and Accounts Payable on invoice and expenditure queries.
- Maintain trackers on key elements of daily, weekly, and monthly performance, helping support continuous improvement and cost-reduction activities.
- Providing budget holders with overhead information for effective review of value and control, promoting a culture of cost awareness.
- Assist with the analysis to compile forecasts and annual budgets.
- Actively monitor and safeguard assets and ensure liabilities are accounted for.
- Carry out ad-hoc projects/investigations as required.

What you'll need to succeed
- Industry experience within Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or substantially working towards.
- Experience of producing and completing weekly and monthly accounts.
