Hays are working is with a growing Manufacturing business in Telford who are looking for a Receptionist on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role which is front of office with exposure to a number of stakeholders internally and externally.
Your new role
As a Receptionist, your role will involve a wide variety of Administration duties for which training will be given.

  • Act as the first point of contact for the business, which includes answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls to the correct individual/department.
  • Management of the company sales email address inbox to ensure all emails are forwarded to the correct contact in a timely manner.
  • Providing first class customer service by responding quickly to all enquiries and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly.
  • Assisting with a wide variety of administration tasks, including Triage, Customer Care, Dustcheck Orders, Processing of PO's, and Contracts.
  • Administration cover for holidays and sickness.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will need at least 3 years in a similar Administration/Reception/Customer Service role with comparable goals and responsibilities, as well as:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to communicate with people across all levels of the business.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Accuracy and a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
