Bookkeeper Role Overview

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing firm who are always on the lookout for dynamic individuals. As the bookkeeper, you will be joining a a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

  • Completion of accounts to a high standard for a variety of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Completion of corporation tax returns
  • Management accounts preparation
  • VAT Returns
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations on a timely basis ensuring all transactions are allocated and understood.
  • Monthly and Weekly Reporting to management
  • Prepare bank payment runs and reconciliations.
  • Client bookkeeping
  • Supporting Directors with month end reporting.

Bookkeeper Experience Required

  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping role
  • Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel) and Accountancy Software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management
