Description
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions.
- Reporting
- Dealing with queries
- Work quickly and efficiently through backlogs
- Ensuring POs are matched
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers
- Assist in the development of accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Working through the email inbox and phone calls to resolve supplier queries
Profile
A successful Senior Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A good understanding of Accounts payable
- Good with Excel, must be familiar with vlookups, formulas
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Be a good communicator, work well within a team
