Automation Test Analyst (Junior/Graduate)
Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a leading service provider to recruit a junior or graduate Automation Test Analyst to join their growing test team during an exciting period of change.
Please note this is a fully remote role offering a competitive salary and development opportunities. This would be a perfect opportunity for a junior or graduate analyst/developer with strong knowledge of java/selenium webdriver/cucumber to join a highly successful test team and develop their skills further.
The Role
As an Automation Test Analyst, you will deliver high-quality testing to clients and internal stakeholders. Working alongside developers, architects and DevOps teams you will collaborate in providing high quality software solutions.
The Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient, effective and timely delivery of assigned test tasks
- Engage and contribute to the continual improvements of tooling and test efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with other teams within the delivery organisation e.g. Architects, BAs and Developers to ensure common understandings, to identify and close any requirement, acceptance criteria or design gaps
- Identify and communicate risks and issues to the test team leader or manager
- Provide support during go-live events as required
- Creation and updating of accurate and effective defect records
- Automated tests, integrated into the build pipelines
- Maintain technical documentation relating to test automation
- Input to assessments for application change requests where requested
The Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of Cucumber, Selenium, Java
- Desire and aptitude to continually develop technical skills and abilities as technology evolves
- A systematic and analytical approach to problem solving
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to a nontechnical audience
- Experience of test automation
