Veritas are currently working with a number of secondary schools who are looking to welcome new members to their skilled teams in September 2024. Our partner schools are looking to take on Graduates who are keen to become dedicated Teaching Assistants. Some of these positions may involve supporting students with SEN within the school. Your consutlant will be happy to direct you to a role that suits your character, experience and skillset best.
Our partner schools in Lambeth take pride in their high standard of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as their brilliant students.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be:
- Dedicated to helping students achieve their attainment level.
- You will encourage students to engage proactively with their learning.
- You will be responsible in helping provide a safe environment for students to learn.
- You will assist the teacher in regard to the students' learning and development.
Key skills and experience needed:
- A University degree
- Contribute an enthusiastic attitude toward learning.
- Be pro-active and have a professional manner.
- Prior experience working with children/young people in any setting.
