The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, with a strong commitment to the holistic development of each child.

Primary School Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5 students.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and support to help each child achieve their best.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.

Primary School Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 5.
  • A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
