Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and take ownership of your own client base. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full accounts preparation and submission to Companies House and HMRC
  • VAT knowledge
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Payroll knowledge
  • CIS knowledge
  • Self-assessment preparation knowledge

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Accounting experience
  • ACCA (part or full) or AAT (fully qualified)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience working in an accountancy practise
  • Proficiency in accountancy softwares such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc, etc.
