About the Role:
167 Solutions is working with an innovative client to find a skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join their growing team. You will play a key role in developing high-quality, user-focused web applications, using Vue.js and TypeScript. This role offers a hybrid working model, with time split between their Swindon office and working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of scalable and maintainable front-end features using Vue.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to create seamless, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and frontend architecture.
- Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend technologies, and contribute to the company's technical direction.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer, with at least 3-5 years of experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in Vue.js and TypeScript.
- Experience working with modern front-end tools and libraries (e.g., Webpack, Vuex).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with RESTfulAPIs and JSON.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Prior experience with hybrid working environments is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
