Conveyancing Assistant

Our client is a well-known multi-discipline firm with multiple offices across the Yorkshire area. They are currently looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their property team in their Doncaster office. This is a heavily client-focused role, and the successful applicant will pride themselves on delivering the best service possible.

Experience within conveyancing is essential, as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately.

Duties

  • Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the Case Management System (CMS)
  • Updating the CMS in accordance with team procedures as the matter progresses
  • Issuing contracts on sales files, dealing with replies to any enquiries
  • Setting up completions and issuing mortgage reports to clients
  • Handling incoming post and telephone enquiries where necessary and possible
  • General administration duties - including but not limited to filing, billing, faxing, photocopying, sorting post and archiving

You

  • You must have a minimum of 1 years' experience within conveyancing
  • Proficient IT skills
  • High standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective way
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptive approach to work
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
