Your new company
Our fast-growing commercial client is looking to recruit an FTC Management Accountant for a 6-month period to work as part of a team reporting to the Finance Manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting in the production of monthly management accounts within strict deadlines, calculating accruals and prepayments, and developing weekly cost centre reporting for cost management and forecasting. You will also maintain detailed P&L schedules, fixed asset register, and full balance sheet reconciliations. Additional duties include liaising with the purchase ledger provider, preparing budgets and quarterly reforecasts, supporting the Senior Management Accountant, and developing weekly reports for key stakeholders. You will also assist with IFRS16 reporting and support the annual statutory audit.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant or part-qualified with experience of preparing monthly management accounts, excellent communication skills and strong Excel.
What you'll get in return
This is an FTC for 6 months, hybrid role, salary to £45,000. Benefits include a bonus, a 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and pension.
