As a Project Manager, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with the main client/ customer, key suppliers and subcontract stakeholders
- Overseeing internal vehicle fitters, quality engineers to name a few
- Directing on all internal reporting through regular programme reviews, monthly progress reports and exception reporting as required
- Acting as a primary point of contact for specific product areas
To apply for this Project Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Must be able to obtain security clearance. (Lived in the UK for the last 5 years and have no criminal convictions)
- Experienced Project Management professional with strong Vehicle program MRO background
- A degree in a mechanical engineering subject would be highly advantageous otherwise the candidate will need to demonstrate the intellectual capacity to operate at this level.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools.
- Recent experience within a military/defence/aerospace industry is an essential attribute unless a sufficient substitute can be demonstrated
- A competent user of Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools is required.
- Strong leadership skills & demonstrable track record in successful project setup, execution & delivery
