Responsibilities
- Manage a small team.
- Managing the development process securing grid, preparing and monitoring planning stages and related of utility scale solar PV and BESS projects.
- Challenging grid offers to deliver the most cost effective solution. Liaising with iDNOs (Independent DNOs).
- Managing work flow to deliver sites to RTB stage and support preparation of commercial review of project headline characteristics.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate internally with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of key milestones.
- Manage relationships with grid operators (National Grid and DNOs) outsources contacting (planning, grid support consultants and related) and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills Required:
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar PV and BESS.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and simulation software, such as AutoCAD.
- In-depth understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV and BESS.
- Excellent commercial management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
