A fantastic opportunity for an innovative R&D Materials Chemist to be involved with pioneering polymers and composites!
The company provides a wide range of polymer coating solutions and repair composites covering several industries and applications, such as mining, marine, wind power and many more!
Here, you'll be joining a small and ambitious R&D department. You'll be providing support in expanding our client's product portfolio by developing and testing new industrial coatings and repair composites.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience (and excellent knowledge) in the research and development of thermoset polymers for coatings/adhesives/composites
- Skilled in material testing techniques such as thermal analysis (DSC, HDT), adhesion properties (lap shear, peel, etc.), mechanical strength and weathering
- A degree in (Polymer) Chemistry/Materials Science (or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, logical thinker, and great team player
