Description
- Co-ordinate research projects and ensure financial viability.
- Develop and manage budgets for ongoing and upcoming research initiatives.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for the Accounting & Finance department.
- Identify and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of departmental strategies.
- Contribute to the overall success of the not-for-profit initiatives by actively participating in team efforts.
Profile
A successful Finance Coordinator should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Strong research skills, particularly in the not-for-profit sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of legal and regulatory standards in the accounting and finance industry.
