Position: Interim Senior Litigation Lawyer
Organisation: East Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months +
Working Hours: Full time and Part time considered
Working Arrangement: Predominately Remote Working with office attendance 1 day per week required
Hourly Rate: Up to £65 per hour Umbrella dependant on experience
For this role, you will be required to handle a complex varied caseload of matters to included Local Authority enforcement/prosecutions (planning, food hygiene, H&S, HMOs, etc), Housing management, Licensing including taxi and private hire, Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005, Anti-social behaviour (Injunctions, PSPOs, etc) and Commercial dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Local Government.
manage a small team of Solicitors within the Legal Department and hold a small Litigation caseload supporting another Solicitor. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority at a Senior or Management level and will have a broad working understanding of Prosecution matters to deal with a varied caseload.
This position has an attractive hourly rate of up to £65 per hour Umbrella dependent on experience.
