Job Title: Construction Estimator
Location: Head Office, Colchester, Essex
Salary: £60,000.00 - £70,000.00 per year

About the Role:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. Our projects, ranging from £500,000 to £15 million, span various sectors including Education, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, Healthcare, Retail, and Heritage. As the industry's leading company, we work on projects up to £30 million.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Produce accurate take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
- Compile rates and basic tender pricing.
- Analyse and compare subcontractor quotes.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients for accurate estimates and project planning.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects only (Commercial / Industrial)
- IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Technical Expertise: Experience in producing take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
- Tender Skills: Competence in rate compilation and basic tender pricing.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and compare subcontractor quotes.
- Project Experience: Candidates must have been involved in commercial/industrial projects.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch.
