Reed Finance are seeking a Finance Manager to lead a high-performing finance team within a company passionate about providing quality products and services. This role is integral to managing the daily finance function and delivering accurate and insightful management information to support the company's ambitious growth plans.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including KPI setting and monitoring.
- Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Review and prepare monthly management accounts and Group consolidated accounts.
- Conduct bank covenant testing and reporting.
- Manage cash flow with weekly Group reporting.
- Project work as required in an exciting time for the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting practices in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in team management and development.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Excel; knowledge of Sage, NetSuite, and Power BI is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
