Partner Interim are working with a complex, global business that is seeking an interim Financial Controller to lead the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, demonstrating best practice in all financial operations across the Group.
As a result of the Group's growth and extensive portfolio, the business requires an individual with proven experience in developing internal governance and strong control frameworks across a complex organisation. The position offers broad stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to collaborate with the board of directors and the wider senior leadership team.
This position will suit an experienced, self-starter who can quickly ascertain an understanding of the current financial controls and processes, to identify potential risks throughout the business and drive efficiencies and areas for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) from a Big 4 Accountancy Practice
- Proven experience of implementing financial controls within a complex, matrix organisation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, as needed
- Proactive self-starter who embraces delivering improvements and change
