Our client is based in Nottingham and is the UK's leading supplier of innovative retail solutions to the Forecourt and Convenience sectors; providing a full marketing and logistical support to thousands of locations. They are seeking talented and driven National Account Managers to join the team and manage key accounts in the North & South of England (two separate roles), with a focus on the forecourt sector.

Role Overview

As an experienced National Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the forecourt sector. This position requires a strategic thinker with over 10 years of experience in account management and a proven track record of success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the forecourt sector.
  • Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze account performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies with business goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the forecourt sector.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in account management, preferably with experience in the forecourt sector.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and market analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills.
