Finance Manager/Senior Management Accountant - Temporary 6mnths+
Macildowie are working with a thriving SME business to support them in recruiting an experienced Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant to work for a for a minimum of 6-months+ on an temporary basis, at an exciting time for their business!
You will manage a small and friendly finance team and be supporting an exceptional Head of Finance with key responsibilities:
- Preparation and completion of Management Accounts
- Revenue recognition and reconciliation
- Updating P&L and Balance Sheet month-end information
- Management of Fixed Assets, including capitalizing new spend
- Creation of depreciation schedules and journals
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Gross Margin
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Managing VAT Returns
- Providing support for Year-end Audit requirements
- Establishing bad debt provisions
- Processing customer deposit
Please note that this is a full 'in office' based position PLUS some flexibility with start/finish times (including a lunchtime finish on a Friday!). The office is conveniently commutable from areas including West Leicestershire, Coalville, Tamworth, Atherstone, Market Bosworth, Hinckley and Nuneaton.
For this role, the candidate requires strong experience in having responsibility for putting together and completing the Management Accounts, have good reconciliation experience, be able to demonstrate very good proficiency in Excel, plus enjoys supporting and working with a small and friendly team!
