Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. We analyse relevant trends for the bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and act as consultant for the bank, its clients and stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality, independent analysis and actively promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues.

The individual will be responsible for supporting coverage of UK and Pan-European Real Estate, reporting to the Lead Analysts for UK & German Real Estate coverage. You will be assisting the Lead Analyst with stock coverage, including modeling, draft research authoring, and other adhoc tasks such as preparation of presentations, adhoc analysis, etc. You will help leverage existing relationships with companies under coverage as part of channel checks and due diligence efforts, while also organising ad hoc roadshows, client events and conferences.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Analyst with stock coverage, preparation of financial models, authoring draft research notes etc
  • Listen and participate in company presentation to understand the operations and performance of stocks under coverage
  • Interact with clients as per instructions from the Lead Analyst to assist with queries, adhoc analysis and on certain occasions to organise roadshows etc

Your skills and experience

  • Strong technical skills including financial modelling and presentation
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and preferably Bloomberg (or similar)
  • Experience working within the real estate sector
  • Strong interpersonal skills which enable you to convincingly market your ideas to the internal and external client base
