Our client are a well-established firm of Independent Financial Planners based in the Birmingham area. They now have an opportunity for an Office Manager to work on a 12 month FTC starting in January 2025. This is a super opportunity to work for a family oriented business as part of a really friendly and professional environment where team work is very much a true reflection of how they operate. This role will suit someone who, has experience of managing and operating a team / office, ideally within Financial Services but this is nom means essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the Director and will play a hands-on position in overseeing the operations of the Administration department.
Duties and Responsibilities
" Ensure the smooth day to day running of the office facilities
" Providing direction and guidance to team members
" Managing the performance of team members to achieve high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
" Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of team members and encouraging their self-development and personal growth
" Upholding the vision, values and culture of the company
" Solving problems and resolving conflicts
" Working with management to introduce operational efficiencies
" Arranging team meetings, setting daily and weekly goals
" Delegating tasks
" Forming strategies
" Managing time
" Managing HR, H&S and recruitment
