The Recruitment Group is looking for a CAD Operator with Tru Tops Boost experience to work in Loughborough. Our client is a fast-growing company with big ambitions dedicated to service their customers at the highest level. We are looking for a CAD Operator who is an experienced and passionate individual with a can-do attitude to join the team. If you are interested in the CAD Operator role, then please read below. Pay for the CAD Operator role - temp to perm
- Up to £17.26 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm
- Friday - 730am to 3.30pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Punch & Laser from designers' drawings, using Tru Tops Boost (TruTops Boost Software essential, experience in programming is essential)
- Able to calculate part requirements from bills of materials
- Create nesting with efficient material usage
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Can work to a production plan and handle upwards of 40-50 production lines at once
- Able to plan work for both day and night shifts
- Can handle prototypes as well as production
- Manage Sheet steel inventory according to program requirements
- Knowledge of fabrication & manufacturing would be beneficial
- 3D/Cad background would be beneficial
- Enhance Existing products / Processes by value engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Excel/Teams
