After huge success over the last twenty years a Newcastle based consultancy who deliver bespoke solutions into industries such as Healthcare, Charity and Law have created a strong financial foundation allowing a period of growth to kick off in 2024 across the Software Development & Testing practice.

The Mission

Their strong reputation is a result of their fantastic approach and dedication to each customer! They listen to their needs and create a unique plan that serves the challenges they are trying to solve taking functionality, adaptability and cost into consideration meaning they have a solution at the end that fits the business needs perfectly.

The Role

  • You'll create innovative software solutions with a combination of technologies to suit the needs of the customer. Primarily using the latest technology in the Microsoft .NET stack in combination with iOS and Android mobile solutions.
  • As this is a Senior role you'll be expected to be a self starter and be there for others to lean on for guidance.
  • You'll need to be imaginative with your problem solving skills and have the ability to create solid maintainable code.

  • You'll work as part of a 20+ team who between them have hundreds of years of Software Development experience meaning plenty of learning opportunities.
  • Other profiles within the team include Business Analysts, Testers and Support Engineers.
  • When speaking with the Founder he told me that the business ethos is knowledge empowerment. It's important to him that anyone shares the same vision across knowledge sharing and wanting everyone around them to succeed.
  • The team is still growing and there are plans to add headcount further into 2024 as part of the wider growth strategy.

Technical Requirements

As this isn't an entry level role, you will need to already be working as a Software Developer with enough commercial experience to showcase your skills in .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS & Entity framework. You don't have to be a Senior already, you could be a mid level ready to take that next step.

Naturally technical experience is important as it is for any software development role you will not be hired in isolation of your tech skills. Drive, ambition and a good attitude are qualities that hold value.
