Administrative Assistant/EA
We are currently seeking a professional, articulate and organised EA/Administrator who plans meticulously, has excellent attention to detail and is available to commence work mid-August for a period of 12 months. The role will involve providing a high level of administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer/Clerk to Council, and the Deputy Clerk to Council who support the governance function. To be successful in this role you will be a competent and experienced Administrator who has experience supporting Executives and taking meeting minutes.
Duties
- Supporting the governance
- Taking accurate minutes of meetings.
- Scheduling and arranging Governor meetings and visits (booking meeting rooms, arranging IT provision, reserving parking, ordering refreshments, ).
- Assisting in the drafting of meeting agendas and in the collation and circulation of meeting
- Taking accurate minutes of
- Maintaining and updating the Governors'
- Arranging training for
- Ensuring Governors' safeguarding requirements and annual declaration forms are up to
- Onboarding new Governors and completing the necessary vetting
- Assisting the Clerk and Deputy Clerk with ad hoc administrative
- Supporting the governance function of international
- Arranging Governor Board meetings (usually via Zoom).

- Ensuring Governors' safeguarding training is up to
- Arranging notarisation of HR
- General administrative
- Acting confidentially and discreetly at all times.
- Assisting the Chief Operating Officer/Clerk to Governors, and Deputy Clerk, with updating the policies and
- Providing general administrative assistance to the Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Clerk and Bursary Manager as required.
