Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK's most exciting and world-renowned music businesses in the search for their next FP&A Manager.
The Business:
With a strong international presence, this multi-faceted company has grown from strength to strength over the last decade. Our client is involved in music recording, licensing, films and books, and is looking to grow the music publishing team. Due to the nature of the organisation, the role offers fantastic exposure to different parts of the business, with room for development and future progression.
Over the last ten years, our client has experienced impressive growth, with revenue for the business exceeding £100 million and a large international presence. Based near central London, the role offers a modern, flexible approach to hybrid working, in a modern office space. There is an emphasis on collaboration in the working culture, which originates from a strong cultural ethos derived from senior level management.
The Role:
In a team of three and reporting into a talented Director of FP&A, this is a broad role which covers primarily financial planning and analysis, alongside elements of management accounting duties including budgeting and forecasting. They are looking for someone who has a keen eye for process improvement as you will be involved with innovating efficiency projects. The role is ideally suited for candidates with a strong proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
Duties:
- Assisting in process improvements and automation
- Business partnering with colleagues in the business including the commercial team to help drive profitability
- Monitoring of deals and reviewing financial viability whilst utilising data to aid with financial modelling
- Month end duties including budgeting, forecasting and auditing queries
- Analyse royalty payment schedules and reports
- Providing useful data alongside insightful analysis around this
- Ad-hoc projects to support the Director of FP&A
What we need to see (essential):
- Strong communication skills with a passion for business partnering
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA - Newly Qual / PQ / Finalist
- Royalties exposure (music / book publishing / tv & film etc)
What we need to see (beneficial):
- Music industry experience
- Data Analytics / Power BI experience
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (potential flex for ideal candidate) + bonus + great benefits package + study support
