Job Title: Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor - Residential Child Care

Location: Hertfordshire (Remote and Onsite)

Salary: £30,000

Holidays: 26 days + public holidays

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor with a national training provider rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with some 'Outstanding' features. This provider offers a variety of highly-rated courses for school leavers and adults, partnering with businesses to enhance training delivery and provide facilities that simulate real workplace environments. Due to growth, we are seeking a full-time Tutor/Assessor to coach learners in Level 5 Residential Child Care Apprenticeships.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver Level 4 and Level 5 Children & Young People Apprenticeship programmes through remote and face-to-face sessions.

Plan, assess, and provide effective coaching and mentorship to learners to ensure their success through the End Point Assessment (EPA).

Develop tailored learning plans aligned with the professional needs of learners.

Support the recruitment, induction, and progression of students while ensuring compliance with quality standards and funding regulations.

Build strong relationships with employers to enhance learner outcomes and foster programme growth.

Manage administrative tasks to ensure excellent results for all students.

Monitor and report on learner progress through regular reviews and tutorials.

Person Specification:

Proven experience in delivering Level 5 Residential Child Care Apprenticeship programmes.

Relevant Level 5 qualifications in the sector, along with an assessor qualification.

Level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy.

Vocational competence in a Residential Child Care setting, up to Team Leader level or above.

Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with learners and employers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with IT applications, including e-portfolios like OneFile.

Full UK driving licence and access to a car for site visits.
