Hays are currently looking for experienced senior analysts to join a growing data & Insights division at one of the biggest public sector organisations in the Northwest. Reporting directly to the Director of Data & Insight, you will manage the data performance platform across the organisation to evaluate customer performance.
Main responsibilities:
- Act as one of the team's primary data reporters: extraction, manipulation, analysis and presentation of organisational data that exits within the Data Warehouse, with a focus on customer satisfaction/ needs.
- Contribute to the organisation's ongoing data governance strategy, consider data quality, verification and integrity in all work.
- Line manages a small team of data & information analysts by directing work and considering staff development and recruitment where necessary.
Essential Skills required:
- Experience of dealing with large databases. Extraction and manipulation of this data using IT packages.
- Skilled SSRS report writer with the ability to write T-SQL queries, an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, confident in using SharePoint and libraries.
- Advanced user of SQL for data manipulation & Extraction.
- Expert in the use of data visualisation packages and business intelligence software such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Experience of working with multiple different stakeholders across a business to deliver analytical/ visualisation projects.
