An Introduction to the Company and Role
A leading company in its industry is seeking a Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team. This role focuses on managing multiple debtors ledgers within the EMEA region, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing. Reporting to the Credit Control & AR Manager, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial health and supporting operational efficiency.
What Will Be the Responsibilities in This Role?
- Ensure timely receipt of payments, focusing on upfront payments.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and address customer queries.
- Issue credit notes with proper authorization.
- Post and allocate payments, reconcile with remittances.
- Generate invoices and provide PDF invoices or statements.
- Set up new customers and conduct credit checks.
- Support AR Manager with debtors reports and cash flow forecasting.
What Experience Do You Need?
- 3 years of experience as a Credit Controller
- Proficiency in intermediate Excel
- Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach.
