Lettings Coordinator

LETTINGS COORDINATOR - SOUTH EAST LONDON

My client is an innovative real estate developer that focuses on grand regeneration projects.

As the Lettings Coordinator your role will be to deliver exceptional customer service to residents and progress all tenancy administration and compliance for the team from offer acceptance to move in.

Contract:

Full Time | Permanent

Salary:

£32,000 - £36,000 per annum

Working Hours:

Mon - Fri. 9.30am - 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all pre-tenancy administration from offer acceptance through to move in.
  • Produce tenancy documentation and pre-tenancy inspections and checks.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and Landlords at all times.
  • Maintain the database and accurate records throughout the tenancy, including managing any change of occupants and changes to clauses in the contracts.
  • Co-ordinate and manage any ore-tenancy cleaning, or remedial works and instruct approved contractors; ensure works are completed to a high standard, on time and in line with full compliance with legislation and company practises.
  • Conduct face to face property checks on site to ensure the properties are in a good condition prior to the start of the tenancy.
  • Conduct referencing checks on tenants.
  • Register tenancy deposits with the tenancy deposit scheme.
  • Collect move in monies from tenants before the start of the tenancy.
  • Key management.
  • Update listings with new properties.
  • Respond promptly to tenants, contractors and landlords
  • Produce weekly lettings and KPI reports.
  • Initiate new and improved ways of working to help streamline processes.
  • Help the senior management team with arranging meetings and coordinating meeting agendas and collateral.

Ideal skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience working in a similar Lettings Coordinator position; preferably 2 + years of experience
  • Good understanding of tenancy legislation and processes.
  • Preferably 2 + years of experience
  • Tech Savvy
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Friendly, positive disposition and a team player.
  • Effective problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Calm, professional and enjoys working in a busy and fast-paced environment.
