The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of rental properties, ensuring that all aspects of the rental process go smoothly, from rent collection to maintenance issues, whilst at all times maintaining an exceptional customer service experience for both landlords and tenants.

You have a talent for finding solutions and making compromises, making you adept at resolving conflicts efficiently. You possess the ability to establish robust client relationships and promote our services with integrity and conviction. Moreover, you possess a high level of empathy and exceptional negotiation skills.

We are looking for candidates who can evidence previous experience in a busy customer focused environment. The successful applicant will need to have exceptional communication and administration skills, along with a passion to help people move. You must drive and have your own vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to basic account inquiries from both landlords and tenants.
  • Follow up on interim property inspection reports and promptly address any necessary repairs or breaches of tenancy, ensuring that landlords are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Obtain quotes and estimates for necessary repairs from contractors.
  • Work with tenants and contractors to proactively address repairs and ensure they are completed within specified time frames.
  • Keep tenants informed of all relevant matters.
  • Arrange for the annual renewal of gas and electric safety certificates for managed properties, in compliance with requirements and legislation.
  • Keep all property files and computer records up-to-date.
  • Handle requests related to rent reviews, renewals, and vacation procedures from landlords, and provide guidance on legislation as required.
  • Assist colleagues with other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong administration background and ability to organize workload.
  • Good IT literacy, including familiarity with Outlook, Word, and strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Problem-solving abilities with appropriate use of initiative.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic and high-energy approach to work.

Hours - 22.5 per week
