Position Overview: Reed HR have partnered with an exciting organisation who are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to establish and manage HR systems across the group. As the first HR hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's HR function, overseeing daily HR operations, and partnering with management to create and implement HR policies and procedures. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with labor regulations and fostering a positive, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR System Development: Establish and maintain comprehensive HR systems, processes, and policies that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee and manage payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees.
  • Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, support career development, and drive organizational success.
  • Performance Evaluation: Design and manage performance evaluation systems to ensure regular assessment and development of staff.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, mediating disputes and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all labour laws and regulations, advising management on necessary actions and updates.
  • HR Policy Implementation: Collaborate with senior management to create and enforce HR policies and procedures that support the company's growth and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in HR management, including recruitment and employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in talent acquisition and performance evaluation processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Transport experience desirable
  • HR certification is a plus.
