Electrical Maintenance Engineer - PLC, Automation, and Robot Experience
Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, based on experience
Shifts: 3 rotating shifts
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a passion for automation and robotics? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Lichfield. You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and repairing a variety of production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant facilities.
- Diagnose mechanical and operational problems, implementing timely solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Provide technical advice on equipment specifications and modifications.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables to minimise downtime.
- Keep maintenance documentation up to date.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems
- Experience with robots
- Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
