Service & PDI Engineer required. Our client is a long-standing family business that have been in the agricultural and Ground care industry for over 100 years. They are now looking for a Service and PDI Engineer due to the growth of the business. This will be for the Kings Langley depot.
Successful candidates will service Toro, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, and other machinery.
**Service & PDI Engineer
Position Overview
- Service and maintain Ground care machinery, including professional mowing equipment, utility vehicles, ATV's and handheld products to the manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety.
- Build up and carry out pre-delivery inspections of new machinery.
- Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible.
- Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair.
- Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer when required (training will be given).
- Complete a detailed report of work completed along with supporting photographs and documenting of all worked times.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the role.

Position Requirements
- Ground care Engineer Skills and Experience
- A background in ground care, agricultural, construction, assembly, or commercial vehicle service with a willingness to work the hours required to get jobs completed.
- Driving licence
**Service & PDI Engineer
Position Remuneration
- Salary: £11 to £15 per hour, based on experience.
- Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8am - 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch break (basic 39 hour working week)
- Holiday Package: 24 days + 8BH
- Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution
- Life Assurance including dependent's pension.
- Vehicle provided for mobile jobs
- Ongoing training as required.
- Overtime available (Mon - Sat time and a half, Sunday - double time, bank holiday Monday - double time & day in lieu)
- You will be required to do some weekend working during peak times.
