ROLE – Workshop Technician
LOCATION - Leicester
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £25,000-£28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
My client is a specialist design development and manufacturing company, with their work going into the POS Display sector. They are looking to take on a Workshop Technician to join their team in Leicester.
The Workshop Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- Workshop Expertise - Experience with plastics
- Experience with CNC Machining and hand tools
- Vacuum Forming and Laser Cutting Experience is preferable
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Team player
- Have a keen interest in training and developing their career in Engineering/Manufacture
The Workshop Technician roles will involve
:
- Hands-on manufacture and assembly of a variety of products
- Working with plastics
- Working to procedures and instructions
- Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
