Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

Location: Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire (Flexible/ Fully Remote Working) MUST LIVE LOCALLY

Hours: 18 – 37.5 per week

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year (Permanent, or 6-month FTC before Permanent)

They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Office manager to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a bookkeeping/ office manager background with experience in a practice setting.

This role offers adaptability for the right candidate, ideally with a minimum commitment of 18 hours per week. We foster a relaxed yet professional company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of clients using cloud software
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
  • Handle basic administrative duties
  • Review VAT Returns for compliance
  • Produce performance reports to provide valuable insights
  • Be a go to contact for clients and liaise internally as necessary

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting practice (required)
  • Proficiency in Xero software (required)
