We are a Church of England school in Caterham, seeking a Year 5 Class Teacher who is passionate about education and dedicated to fostering the academic and spiritual development of our students. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring educator, ready to contribute to our nurturing and inclusive environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Uphold discipline in accordance with the school's procedures, promoting punctuality, positive behaviour, and high standards of work and homework.
- Engage in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Commitment to the Christian ethos of the school.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
