Academics are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our supply agency to work within our client secondary schools in both short-term and long term roles starting in September 2024.
As a supply English Teacher you will have the opportunity to work in various schools across Warrington, gaining a diverse range of teaching experiences.
This position offers flexibility allowing you to choose your own working schedule.
There will be a range of day to day and long term opportunities available
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students of varying abilities across KS3 - KS4
- Maintaining a positive and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
- Assessing and evaluating pupil progress
- Collaborating with school staff and parents to ensure students' educational needs are met
- Providing constructive feedback to students to enhance their academic performance
- Following school policies and procedures
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience of teaching the English curriculum up to GCSE
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual pupil needs
- Good classroom management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments
