Service Coordinator

Look no further... we are supporting an incredibly large and successful client recruit a Service Coordinator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm - 30 min lunch plus AM/PM breaks.

Your role is to arrange, plan, monitor and coordinate field engineer activities and maximise engineer utilisation and deliver against KPI based revenue and activity targets. You will be the first point of contact for customers, reactive call outs and preventative maintenance and remedial scheduling, to promote a high level of customer service and commercial awareness at all times.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Scheduling preventative maintenance visits.
  • Scheduling of reactive calls & revisits.
  • Scheduling of Remedial Works.
  • Liaising with customers and engineers to maximise the productivity of the scheduling activities and deliver high quality customer service.
  • Taking front-line calls from customers, being the initial point of contact and resolving the customers query.
  • Ensuring all visits are booked efficiently in accordance with company procedures, maximising engineer utilisation and efficiencies.
  • Ensuring customer SLA's met whenever practicable and if not liaise with customers in a timely fashion accordingly.
  • Work across the team and wider group in managing national and key account customers as necessary to provide a seamless service.
  • Ensuring that engineering data received from hand-held devices is professional and compliant.
  • Managing/scheduling sub-contractors to ensure they are aware of /comply to company standards delivering required services in a professional and timely manner
  • Raising subcontract orders in line with company procedures.
  • Requesting equipment for engineers van stocks when required.
  • Assisting with maintaining the service management database.
  • Booking hotel and accommodation for engineers as necessary and ensuring company procedures adhered to in the process.
  • Tracking work completion and the return of worksheets/reports from Engineers, supplying full and accurate information to other departments as required eg accounts.
  • Generating or providing various management reports (KPIs, invoicing, weekly and monthly business updates etc) and taking action as appropriate to address issues.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks for the management team that help to maintain service and the division's commercial/financial commitments.
